Reflection for this Sunday’s Gospel from John 15:26-27; 16:4b-15.

John 16:12-15 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine. For this reason I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you. (NRSV)

Reflection:

  1. Minsan, ginagamit ang “Banal na Diwa” o ang “leading ng Holy Spirit” para i-glorify o i-angat, hindi si Hesus kundi at sarili (o sariling opinyon at paninindigan). Paano maiiwasan ito? Paano natin kinikilala ang paggabay ng Banal na Diwa sa isa’t isa?
  2. Ano ang maaari nating matutunan sa relasyon ng Diyos Ama, ni Hesus at ng Banal na Diwa sa mga talatang binasa?
  3. May mga bagay daw na nais sabihin (o ituro) si Hesus ngunit hindi na niya ito sinabi dahil ang Banal na Diwa na ang gagabay sa atin tungo sa “lahat” ng katotohanan. Paano natin tinutuklas at tinatanggap ang mga “bagong” bagay na itinuturo sa atin ng Banal na Diwa?
